MaryAnn Holt

DELAVAN – MaryAnn Holt, age 92, of Delavan, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in her home, with loved ones at her side.  She was born in Elkhorn on January 5, 1932, to Earl and Ruth (Rappold) Klug.  MaryAnn graduated from Delavan High School in 1949.  She was united in marriage to Roger Holt, her high school sweetheart, on May 13, 1951.  He passed away on September 25, 1992.  

MaryAnn enjoyed many things:  spending time with family and friends, one-on-one time with grandchildren, trips to Door County, Florida, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Italy, and Israel; sewing, square-dancing, playing games, and eating out.  She was a member of Delavan United Methodist Church for more than 70 years.   She was devoted to her family, friends, church, and her Savior Jesus Christ.  She loved well, and was well loved.  Her influence and our memories will never be forgotten.

MaryAnn is survived by her three sons: William Holt of Florida, Robert Holt of Elkhorn, Glen Holt of Whitewater; and one daughter, Kathryn (Gerald) Hartlaub, of Delavan; 12 grandchildren: Dagny (Ken), Brian, Kelsey, Kirsten (Bryan), Jeremiah, Bethany, Matthew (Kimberly), Anna (Jordan), Paul (Aliesha), Nathan, Micah, and Joseph; great-grandchildren: Kaylan, Damien, Riley, Peter, Brooklyn, and another due in May; brother-in-law, John Kilkenny. 

MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; two sons, Jeffrey and David; sister, Diane; and granddaughter Elizabeth.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Delavan United Methodist Church, 213 S. 2nd Street in Delavan.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.  Burial will take place at Richmond Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delavan United Methodist Church.
